It's been many years (last one was in 1998) since Volvo Cars of North America has opened their doors to the public. This year, they have decided to once again open up and let us in... Well a select few, it was open only to current members of active Volvo Clubs, specifically being the Volvo Club of America (VCOA) and Volvo Sports America (VSA).

The event was most defiantly a family affair, so we left the C70 Convertible at home and packed up the kids and the giant double stroller into the 850 Wagon and headed out. To stretch it out into more of a family vacation than just a car show, we made a stop in Binghamton, NY and played at the Discover Center.

Once we arrived early Saturday Morning the fun began, with cars to see, doughnuts to eat and seminars to attend, the day was jam packed... Lunch was even graciously provided, cooked and served by the great employees of VCNA. To top the day off, my son, Grant, won a C70! Both of my daughters received a cuddly Volvo Moose and my wife and I shared a great day together as a Family.

The drive home was an adventure, one of the nicest stretches of road was discovered because an accident forced us to detour... BUT if you ever get the chance to meander through the Palisades Interstate Park, please take it... It was some of teh prettiest and funest roads I've been on... BUT on with the pictures...
